GUEST NUMBERS
We cater for a minimum of 40 guests up to a maximum of 3000 guests...it really depends on menu selections and event type.
A function of fewer than 70 guests may attract a staffing surcharge and delivery fee.
All menus have a minimum guest number requirement, events under the minimum number attract a surcharge.
OTHER CHARGES
All menus have a minimum guest number requirement, events under the minimum attract a surcharge for staffing.
A 25% surcharge applies to all public holidays.
If for any reason if an event or wedding is delayed through no fault of Simple and Beautiful Catering the cost of staffing will be on charged to the client following the event.
If a clean and tidy kitchen space is not provided upon arrival Simple and Beautiful Catering will on charge the staff hours required to clean the kitchen prior to commencing catering and potential delays in service times as a result.
QUOTES/CHARGES
A quote will be provided based on your menu selection and number of expected guests. Our menus are inclusive of staffing for events/weddings over 70 guests and will be itemised if not inclusive. Any additional waitstaff required, travel expenses or equipment hire charges will be provided in the planning & quotation process.
Quotes are subject to changes if our menu prices change in-between booking and event/wedding date. This is due to products and staffing costs increase regularly and events/weddings book so far in advance.
Some events require a site inspection before a final quote is provided and may have additional costs due to equipment required.
ADDITIONAL STAFF PRICES
Wait and kitchen hand staff are charged at a rate of $49.50/hr (Sundays + $4.50/hr), Event Supervisors at $55/hr (Sundays + $4.50/hr) and Chefs are charged at a rate of $55.00/hr (Sundays + $4.50/hr).
Public Holidays and New Years Eve staff prices are at higher rates. A staff travel fee may apply. A minimum of 3 hours of work is required per staff member, and 2 staff must attend any function to comply with our work health and safety requirements.
TRAVEL
Travel costs related to staffing and transport of equipment will be discussed in your planning and quotation process.
DEPOSIT
Events and weddings bookings require a $500.00 deposit to secure the date. This deposit is non refundable due to the planning process being organised so far in advance.
PAYMENT
Payment by direct deposit to our bank account is free of any additional fees. The current card payment fee rates are: Visa and MasterCard 1.5% American Express 2.0%, Diners Club and JCB 3.5%. Card payments are applied automatically upon payment processing and may be varied from time to time in response to changes to banks and financial institution fees.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be emailed to [email protected] as soon as possible. All deposits made for weddings throughout September to May are non refundable due to the planning process being organised so far in advance. If cancellations are made within one week of the function date, your deposit is non refundable and you will incur the cost of any food purchased and time spent preparing your function. Cancellations 48 hours prior to function date will incur the full cost of food and staff time to prepare the food.
